Thunderbirds Set To Go Again
Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s beloved puppets are set to make their TV comeback during 2015 as ITV and Pukeko Pictures launch a new 26 episode series titled Thunderbirds are Go! The much anticipated series will feature a unique blend of puppets and CGI. Pukeko Pictures will be producing the series in conjunction with the Weta Workshop which was responsible for action scenes in hits such as Avatar and Lord of the Rings. Rumors of a Thunderbirds revival first surfaced back in 2008 when ITV entered into negotiations with Gerry Anderson for the rights to the series. Sadly, Anderson passed away late last year but his legacy will live on.
